I wanted a compact mechanical keyboard, so I picked up this cheap second hand ADX (£22, CEX). It feels good to the touch, and the RGB lighting can be customized by using Fn key combinations rather than using software. I set it to an unobtrusive cyan.
The battery life is very short, 10 hours or less. Charging it takes 5 hours. You end up leaving the charging cable plugged in permanently, and yet you still need to use the 2.4Ghz dongle since there's no support for a wired mode.
It also suffers from narcolepsy. Leave it alone for a couple of minutes and it shuts off. Start typing and it wakes up, but loses the first key you pressed. It's supremely irritating, expecially when it mangles a password.
A dissapointment. I'm looking forward to replacing with something better.
